So, you may use any words that you think may have been used to describe the file you seek – including not just obvious things like creator and title but also anything else notable that a person may have entered as comments or additional descriptions.

Searches match on any one or more of your search terms – so you may get back results that match your search only partially. In general, more complete matches will appear first.

When displaying results, Bitzi shows the file bitprints which have tags matching your search – but not the matching tags themselves, so it may not initially be clear why a result matched your search. If you take a closer look at the "detail" view for that file, you should see in its tags what matched.

Remember, we do not possess copies of the files in our catalog, nor know where they can be found. We can only help you with a precise description of files which might be available, or allow you to distinguish between files already accessible to you.
